DualSim mobile phones are designed for the Australian market that allows you to insert to SIM cards and have both have both active simultaneously to allow calls to be made or received from either number.
The unique technology of have Dual Transceivers is unique to DualSim mobile phones. The normal GSM phones only have one Transceiver and can't be converted to Dual Sim operation. Some adapters that claim Dual Sim require you to turn the phone off and on again to switch between SIM cards.
